ISO 10303-235 ‘Engineering properties for product design and verification’ was designed by Ferroday Ltd for the digital representation of data for any properties of any product measured by any method.  This representation can be sustained throughout the lifetime of the product, independently from any proprietary software.  A description of ISO 10303-235 has been published in the CODATA Data Science Journal  volume 8 pages 190-200.
